The fifth non-profit Art Auction for the support of the children and families of tragically perished athletes will be launched with a strong belief in the magic healing power of culture and the vigour of unity and charity. The auction, taking place already for the fifth time during this year of the Olympics, will be organised by the Estonian Association of Athletes (EAA) as a gala on Friday, 26 November at 19:00 in the Kadriorg Art Museum in the Kadriorg Palace. This year, the football legend Mr. Franz Beckenbauer will be the promoter of the auction. The guests of honour of the auction will be today’s best chess player in the world Mr. Viswanathan Anand from India, who is accompanied by the President of the Estonian Chess Federation, an international supermodel Carmen Kass. The art will be presented by the RIOS Gallery. Mr. Heinz Valk will be the auctioneer, Frens Catering will provide the event with delicacies, and the delights of wine will come from the wine cellar of ALTANZA in the region of Rioja, Spain. We also hope to surprise you pleasantly with musical interludes, and believe that your active participation will provide the needy with faith and real support while expanding and adding value to your art collection.
