Düsseldorf artist, animal painter and landscape painter Albert Holtz is a student of Christian Kröner, and Georg Khachkov. The latter taught in the theater decoration class at the Academy of Arts from 1919–28. Then he worked as an artist in the city theater. The artist created landscape panoramas for the Dusseldorf Zoo. Holz mainly created landscapes and genre depictions of village life in the Vamlin and Moselle regions.
