Evidently peonies are the favorite flowers of the artist - one can feel Ilmar Kimm painted from nature. No stylization whatsoever - inspiration comes from nature itself.
Art education has received in Leningrad. In 1948 has ended Institute of painting, a sculpture and architecture of a name of I.Repina. In 1965 has received a rank of the professor.
