A graphic and painter, Myart Laarman was also occupied with teaching and literary work. In the twenties he studied at A.Laikmaa’s school, then continued his education during trips to Northern countries (Finland, Germany, Denmark and Sweden). Typical of his works is the laconic and decorative style in the use of colours and reserved lyrical interpretation.
