Dmitri Dobrovolsky's "Three Sisters" (1997) is an oil on canvas painting that measures 65 x 80. This artwork is signed by the artist on the lower right. Born in Kiev in 1968, Dobrovolsky is a highly accomplished painter who graduated as a designer from the local High School for Applied Art and Design, and later as a painter-monumentalist from the State Academy of Figurative Art and Architecture. Under the guidance of well-known painters-academicians V.Zabashty and V.Storozhenko, he became a member of the Union of Ukrainian Artists in 1998. Over the past two decades, his work has been featured in over 20 local and international exhibitions, and his pieces are held in private collections and museums across Europe, the U.S.A., and Canada.

Lembit Saarts (1924 -2016) was a renowned artist known for his distinctive, abstract, bright and airy style of painting. Born in Tartumaa in 1924, Saarts studied at the Tartu Higher Courses of Visual Arts from 1942-44 and at the Tartu State Art Institute from 1944-48. He has been exhibiting his work since 1958 and held personal exhibitions at the Tallinn Art Salon in 1971 and the Tartu Art Museum in 1974. A member of the KL since 1959, Saarts has painted portraits, landscapes, and compositions, including non-figurative ones. His work "Kuused liival" (Pines on Sand) from the 1950s is a typical example of his style. The painting is oil on paper, measuring 13.8 x 20 cm, and comes from the artist's family collection.

Robert Büchtger, born in St. Petersburg, was a prominent landscape painter, portraitist, and illustrator who studied in the Polytechnical School in Riga. He later became the apprentice of well-known Russian artists Gavriil Kondratenko and Ivan Shishkin. In 1889, Büchtger moved to Munich, Germany, where he stayed until the end of his life.
